Growing up is strange. You go to school and get a job and live in a new place without parents guiding you in the same capacity. You read books, and cook meals, and do adult things. It's refreshing. And unnerving at times. But good, i suppose.

To the one who is eager to move forward and forget all that lays behind: Don't rush it. Learn from what you are going through. Wait. Be patient.

To the one who is yearning for the simpler times of being young: Change is hard. I know. But at the same time in those uncomfortable transitions we learn. We grow. We are better for it. Look for the bright moments!
